The ScooterX 49cc Power Kart was the 1st go kart introduced by ScooterX in 2005. This model has done so well we've added 3 more go karts since. This kart is great for children as young as 4 years old up to an adult rider. The 49cc Power Kart Go Kart comes standard with the following listed features. 49cc Gas Engine This is the most powerful 2 stroke 49cc engine of this type on the market. Also EPA Approved for our environment! Centrifugal Clutch This is an Automatic clutch Solid rubber tires These tires are meant for pavement or smooth surfaces only. Rear Disc Brakes Disc brakes are much safer than drum or band brakes(commonly used on Chinese scooters) for the fact that they work much better. Safety Flag The flag gives you more visibility and is intended for safety Trigger Throttle We use the trigger throttle on out go karts. Trigger is mounted directly to the handle bars. Hand Brake The brake is also mounted directly to the handle bars. Top Speed 24mph Kart can go even faster with upgrades. (35mph)
